2026 DHS HOMECOMING PARADE SIGN-UP LINK

September 14th-September 19th

• NEW TRAFFIC FLOW 2026:  2nd Street near north park will be a one way route, closed to vehicle traffic moving north @ Elm Street starting at 3:30pm. Please access North Park from Hickory St.
• The parade route will be closed to all traffic from 3:45pm until the parade has concluded.
• There is NO PARKING at North Park or on the parade route the day of the parade.
• PLEASE let your parents know to drop-off students outside of the north park staging area, they will not be let into the lot unless they walk-in with their student. It is highly suggested that all participants have a meeting place (other than North Park) and walk over together.
• Cars will not be able to park anywhere on 2nd street - it will be a one way with a quick drop off to prevent traffic backup!
• If you are at the front or end of a row, please leave room for your fellow participants to fit!

• Candy is allowed. Please be careful when throwing candy from floats/vehicles.
• Thank you to Operation Snowball & NHS for cleaning-up after this year's parade
